Mazda Motor Corp. expects the company to reach record sales in the US in the next two years. By 31 March 2016, the company expects sales to reach 400,000 units through strong demand, new products, and a lower cost structure. The company expects the new Mazda3 to bring in most of this volume. The leader also predicts 2.5% market share for the brand in the period, compared to 1.9% through October 2013.

The company is riding into 2014 with strong products in the Mazda3 and Mazda6, and is forecast to launch the CX-3 small CUV in 2015 in time for it to contribute to this goal.
