Likewise Group hails trading in line with expectations

Likewise Group PLC - Birmingham, England-based domestic and commercial floor coverings distributor - Says that its businesses in both residential and commercial flooring have continued to improve following its full-year results, and that the company continues to trade in line with market expectations.

Year-to-date group revenue is up 18% year-on-year, while likewise branded businesses are up 25%. The new High Bay Distribution Centre in Glasgow is also due to start operating on Tuesday, which Likewise says will provide "significant" extra storage and processing capacity for Scotland, England and Wales.

Likewise Group Plc is a United Kingdom-based floor coverings distributor. The Company is engaged in the wholesale distribution of floor coverings and associated products. It is focused on the residential and commercial areas of the market. Its distribution hubs in Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and Sudbury, Manchester Distribution Centre, plus Facilities in Newcastle, Newbury and Sidcup in addition to the Valley Network in Erith, Derby and Newport have a total of approximately 15 million cubic feet. Its brands include Likewise Matting, Likewise Scotland, Likewise North East, Likewise North, Likewise South East, Lewis Abbott, Factory Flooring, H&V Carpets, A&A, Likewise Midlands, Valley Wholesale Carpets, Delta Carpets, Likewise South and Likewise London. Likewise Matting, incorporating Dandy, Bruce Starke and Marquee Floors, operates from its approximately 80,000 square foot distribution. H&V brand is a manufacturer based in Belgium supplying full rolls of carpet to flooring retailers.
