The board of directors Of Climax International Company Limited the group are expected to record a significant decrease in net profit for the six months ended 30 September 2013 as compared to the net profit for the corresponding period ended 30 September 2012. Such significant decrease in net profit was mainly attributable to the weakening global demand and fierce competition in the printing and packaging industry which lead to a strong price competition of the products and the increase in minimum wage requirement in the PRC together with the effect of the appreciation of RMB to HKD which have significantly increased the labour costs and other production costs.
