Nova Resources B.V. (Bidco), which is owned by the largest co-owners of KAZ Minerals Vladimir Kim and Oleg Novachuk, has again extended its offer to buy the Kazakh miner's shares, this time until April 9, 2021. The offer was originally due to lapse on March 9, but was extended until March 23. As of March 23, 2021 Bidco had received valid acceptances of the increased offer in respect of 19.91% of the existing issued share capital of KAZ Minerals PLC (LSE:KAZ), up slightly from 19.88% on March 9. Bidco had received acceptances in respect of shares representing 10.63% of the existing issued share capital of KAZ Minerals, unchanged from March 9. Kim and Novachuk already own 39.38% of KAZ Minerals directly and indirectly and will consolidate 59.3% once they have bought out all minority shareholders consenting to the offer.
