TBS Group's EBM subsidiary is awarded a 12.1 million euro contract to supply clinical engineering services to the Cagliari and Lanusei hospital structures

EBM, a TBS Group subsidiary, has been awarded a 12.1 million euro contract to supply biomedical technology management services to the Cagliari University Hospital, Sardinia's most important health organisation, and the Lanusei local health authority.

EBM constituted 60% of a temporary company association, including Hospital Consulting SpA, and represented it in the successful bid process.

The total value of the contract is 20.21 million euro, comprising 13.89 million (including security charges) for the Cagliari University Hospital, with 8.3 million going to EBM, and 6.56 million for the Lanusei health authority, of which EBM was awarded 3.9 million. To date only the contract with Cagliari University Hospital has been signed off, while the contract with Lanusei authority is expected in the next few months.

The duration of the Cagliari University Hospital contract is seven years, beginning on 1° August, with an option for a further two-year extension.
