ImageWare Systems, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was USD 2.471 million compared to USD 785,000 a year ago. Operating loss was USD 1.070 million compared to USD 3.044 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 626,000 compared to USD 2.665 million a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was USD 3.999 million compared to USD 2.527 million a year ago. Operating loss was USD 6.781 million compared to USD 9.235 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 6.652 million compared to USD 8.825 million a year ago.
ImageWare Systems, Inc. provides biometrically enabled software-based identity management solutions. The Company develops software that provides indication of a person's identity. Its product include Imageware Biometric Engine is a patented biometric identity and authentication database built for multi-biometric enrollment, management and authentication. The Companyâs products are used to manage and issue secure credentials, including national identifications (IDs), passports, driver licenses and access control credentials.
