MADRID, April 24 (Reuters) - Spanish utility Iberdrola does not plan to close down its combined cycle power plants in Spain, its chairman Ignacio Sanchez Galan said on Wednesday.
Spanish newspapers Cinco Dias and La Vanguardia had earlier reported that Iberdrola planned to close its combined cycle plants in Spain by 2030, citing unidentified company sources. (Reporting by Inti Landauro; Editing by David Latona)
