UPDATE ON LIQUIDATION

1. Hyflux Ltd. (In Liquidation) ("Company") refers to:

1. the announcement made on 21 July 2021 in respect of the compulsory liquidation of the Company; and
2. the following Holders of:
3. 1. S$500,000,000 6.00% Perpetual Capital Securities (SGX-BTWZ);
   2. S$400,000,000 8.00% Cumulative Non-ConvertibleNon-Voting Perpetual Class A Preference Shares (SGX:N2H);
   3. S$100,000,000 4.20% Notes Due 2019 (ISIN: SG6W23985057);
   4. S$100,000,000 4.25% Notes Due 2018 (ISIN: SG6Q70974010); and
   5. S$65,000,000 4.60% Notes Due 2019 (ISIN: SG6Q77974112).

(collectively, "Holders")

1. A virtual townhall meeting for all Holders will be held on 5 November 2021 (Friday), 5 p.m. (Singapore time) ("Meeting") to provide an update on the work undertaken by the Liquidators since their appointment.
2. Holders who are interested in joining the Meeting, please register by 2 November 2021 (Tuesday), 5 p.m. (Singapore time) at the registration site:

3. Verified Holders will receive the Meeting link information to their email by 4 November 2021.
4. Holders may submit any questions they may have in advance of the Meeting tohyfluxholders@kroll.comby 2 November 2021. The Liquidators will endeavour to respond to each question at the Meeting.
