Forthnet S.A. announces that on April 1st, 2021, Mr. Panayotis Georgiopoulos will take over as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Georgiopoulos joins from WIND Hellas, where he has been Business Segment Executive Director. Before WIND, he spent eight years at Vodafone Greece, initially as Head of Strategy and then Commercial Operations Director.

Mr. Georgiopoulos takes over from Mr. Dimitrios Tzelepis, who as interim CEO has for the past several months been successfully leading the business and the integration process into United Group from the side of Forthnet. Mr. Tzelepis will return to his role as Forthnet's CFO on April 1st, and will continue to play an important role in the Company as part of its management team.

Panayotis Georgiopoulos's professional achievements include a highly successful transformation program at Vodafone Greece, closing of M&A transactions, fixed sales growth, and driving a significant increase in the NPS index.

Prior to Vodafone, Mr. Georgiopoulos worked for various organisations including McKinsey & Company, Teleperformance, Dell and General Motors.
