In 2021, Qatar continued its fight against Covid-19 and emerged stronger and more resilient with powerful drivers for the economy. Qatar has made concrete strides towards diversification through reforming the business environment and increased government spending on large-scale infrastructure development ahead of World Cup 2022.

The year also witnessed the successful completion of the Arab Cup, which also served as a dress rehearsal for the FIFA World Cup 2022 that will commence on November 21, 2022.

GWC played a crucial role in delivering this milestone sporting event and tackled all the bottlenecks by being agile and innovative. This is all part of GWC's long-term goal to support Qatar National Vision 2030 and build a strong foundation for businesses in Qatar for decades to come.
