(Alliance News) - Giglio.com Spa on Tuesday announced the launch of its mobile app, both Android and IOS.

"Giglio.com continues to invest in customer user experience and customer loyalty. The company has released a mobile app on the Android Play Store and Apple's APP store that will allow customers to navigate from their smartphones more smoothly and effectively and in five different languages," the company explained in a note.

"Once again, Giglio.com's proprietary technology represents a competitive advantage for the company, allowing it to directly design and govern a streamlined architecture for the implementation and management of all services pertaining to both the site and the app. This will make it possible to provide the user with a uniform experience regardless of the navigation channel they choose and to engage them with a proposition that is ever closer to their actual shopping preferences."

The provision of the mobile app will enable the nearly 20 million Giglio.com users who currently visit the site from mobile devices to enjoy a more responsive, fluid and engaging shopping experience. In fact, users using mobile apps typically experience 30 percent higher retention values than those served through the mobile website.

Giglio.com is flat at EUR2.80 per share.
