Fuller Smith & Turner plc announced the appointment of Simon Emeny, currently Group Managing Director, as Chief Executive with effect from July 1. The company noted that this is the next stage in the evolution of its succession plan and Michael Turner, who became Managing Director in 1992, Chief Executive in 2002 and Executive Chairman in 2007, will continue as Chairman of the firm in a Non-Executive capacity. Emeny, aged 47, joined Fuller's in 1996, and joined the main Board in 1998. He was the Managing Director of Fuller's Inns since 2006, and subsequently became Group Managing Director in 2010.
