RECEIPT OF WINDING UP APPLICATION FROM AMBANK (M) BERHAD (LABUAN

OFFSHORE BRANCH)

Unless otherwise defined, all capitalised terms used in this announcement shall bear the same meanings as in the Company's announcement dated 11 August 2017, 10 November 2017, 5 January 2018, 18 April 2018, 24, 25 May 2018, 12 January 2021, 15 July 2021, and

25 August 2021("Previous Announcements").

The Board of Directors ("Board") of Falcon Energy Group Limited ("Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") refers to the Previous Announcements.

The Board wishes to inform that on 25 August 2021, the Company received a copy of a winding up application against the Company in Originating Summons HC/CWU 140/2021, which was filed by Ambank (M) Berhad (Labaun Offshore Branch).

The hearing of the winding up application is fixed on 17 September 2021 at 10.00 am.

The Company will seek legal advice with respect to the winding up application.

Further announcements will be made by the Company and the Board via SGXNET as and when there are material developments in compliance with the listing rules of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

Shareholders and investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company.
