Eversource Energy announced that Steve Sullivan will become the new president of the company's electric operations in Connecticut effective December 5th. Sullivan, a Connecticut resident and company employee for more than 30 years, will serve as the President of the Connecticut Light & Power Company and lead a dedicated, cross-functional team tasked with addressing the needs of customers in Connecticut. He will oversee electric operations and system maintenance in the state and will lead the company's storm response and resource allocation decisions with the Connecticut Incident Command Team. Sullivan currently serves as Transmission Project Management and Construction Vice President, overseeing transmission and distribution substation projects, which strengthen the transmission system and enable the adoption of new renewable energy across Eversource's three-state service area. Sullivan has extensive electric distribution knowledge, including system operations and system restoration. In his new role, Steve will also lead a cross-functional, state-focused team that will include Electric Field Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Community Affairs. This new organization will also have direct support from other recently named Connecticut-based corporate officers who lead IT and Corporate Communications. Steve is committed to rebuilding the confidence and trust of customers, the business community and elected leaders across Connecticut.
