Ercros S A : participates in the seminar on safe handling of methanol

Enric Montserrat, director of the intermediate chemicals division, and Óscar Giménez, head of project optimization of the sustainable development department, both representing Ercros, attended the seminar on Responsible Care held in Barcelona, organized by Methanex in collaboration with Schupp Ibérica, to discuss and promote safe handling practices and responsible care of methanol.
The meeting brought together industry experts and professionals from chemical companies, distributors, transporters, external inspectors, terminals, truck cleaning operations, firefighters and environmental authorities.
Responsible Care is a voluntary initiative of international scope in the chemical sector, of which Ercros is a member, whose objective is to promote the continuous improvement of safety, health and environmental protection in all operations of the industry.
Ercros' participation in this seminar reflects its firm commitment to the application of responsible practices in its activity and the search for excellence in safety, health and respect for the environment.
