ENCE Energía y Celulosa S A : Magnon renews its collaboration agreement with San Juan del Puerto, for the sixth consecutive year

Magnon Green Energy, renewable energy subsidiary of the Ence Group, and San Juan del Puerto have today renewed the collaboration framework agreement by which Social groups of this Huelva town receive 100,000 euros in aid annually for projects that result in the socioeconomic, cultural and social improvement of the municipality.
In the words of Guillermo Negro, CEO of Magnon, "our commitment to San Juan del Port has been, is and will be an important axis of our management. Agreements like the one we renew today are a clear example of how, at Magnon, we want our activity represents a lever for social, economic and environmental improvement for our around".
For Rocío Cárdenas, mayor of San Juan del Puerto, "this City Council needs to continue counting on the collaboration of Magnon to continue giving life to the projects and objectives of our organized civil society, helping us, day by day, to improve its progress." So, With this agreement, "we reiterate the commitment that, as the City Council, we acquired with the company in 2016 and thanks to which we have achieved more than half a million euros in aid for the San Juan population."
Since 2018, the company, which has the electricity generation complex located in Huelva renewable energy from biomass, the most important in Europe, renews this important initiative that energizes the local social fabric of San Juan del Puerto. Until now, within the framework Of this aid, more than a hundred initiatives have received economic support to objectives of a very diverse nature, always with direct benefit for the entire population of this Huelva town.
Among other objectives, the beneficiary projects to date have been aimed at supporting the healthy sports habits in different modalities; caring for the most vulnerable groups vulnerable, such as disabilities or the elderly; and to improve educational quality, with initiatives aimed at reducing inequalities and the digital divide. Also, in these years, aid has also been aimed at improving the provision of resources for services municipal Civil Protection and the sports area of the San Juan Pier.
Like every year, in the coming months the bases of this will be defined and published call for aid, to receive proposals from entities and people from San Juan who They work for the social, environmental or economic improvement of their people.
