In yesterday's meeting the Supervisory Board of Elmos Semiconductor AG has appointed Guido Meyer (49) with effect from January 1, 2017 as a new Management Board Member. He will assume responsibility for production and logistics. The current Management Board Member for production Reinhard Senf (64) will retire as of December 31, 2016 and therefore resign from the Board of Elmos Semiconductor AG.

Prof. Dr. Günter Zimmer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Elmos Semiconductor AG: 'Guido Meyer is well known to us from his many years as head of various production areas of Elmos. He does not only possess the necessary management skills for this new responsibility, but also disposes of a thorough technical understanding.'

Guido Meyer has been with Elmos since 1995. He first worked in the test area which he headed for seven years. For four years now he has been leading the wafer processing. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund (FH Dortmund).

Already today Supervisory Board and Management Board thank Reinhard Senf for his contributions to the positive development of the company. Prior to his retirement Reinhard Senf will accompany the incorporation of Guido Meyer.
