Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

SINGAPORE - 1st April 2022 - Mainboard listed chocolate confectionery company, Delfi Limited ("Delfi", or together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") wishes to announce the appointment of Mr. Tan Chay Kee ('Chay Kee') as the Chief Operating Officer ("COO") of the Group, along with other changes in key manager responsibilities, effective today.

Chay Kee will report to Delfi CEO Mr. John Chuang, assisting him in leading the operations in manufacturing, supply chain, and food safety. Until today, these areas have been led by Mr. Michael Roberts, Chief of Manufacturing and Quality. With the appointment of Chay Kee, Mr. Roberts will focus on our growing engineering efforts and managing important projects that are critical to our growing business.

Chay Kee brings with him over 25 years working in a number of wide-ranging business roles in engineering, executive compensation planning & advisory, corporate finance, strategic planning, and corporate development. Prior to joining Delfi, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Seabridge TFX Pte Ltd. (a Fintech company), and Chief Financial Officer of JB Foods Ltd, a Mainboard SGX-listed cocoa ingredients manufacturer. Earlier in his career, he worked closely with Mr. Chuang at Petra Foods Limited (the predecessor company to Delfi) as the financial controller for the Cocoa Ingredients Division and on executive planning matters.

Mr. John Chuang, commented, "The Board and I are delighted to welcome Chay Kee back to the Delfi family. His appointment demonstrates an increase in depth and broader scope of our senior managerial team. Delfi Limited's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. John Chuang, was also recognized for his leadership and management of the Group. He was named "Best Chief Executive Officer" at the 2011 Singapore Corporate Awards, "Businessman of the Year" at the 2012 Singapore Business Awards and he was one of the recipients of the SG50 Outstanding Chinese Business Pioneers Awards in 2015.
