NAZZARENO GREGORI WILL CONCLUDE HIS CAREER IN JANUARY 2023;

ANGELO CAMPANI APPOINTED AS FUTURE GENERAL MANAGER

Nazzareno Gregori, the current General Manager, will leave the Institute after a long career in the Group which began in 1979 and which saw him as a protagonist in the development of the bank. The current Co-General Manager, Angelo Campani, has been appointed, in full continuity, as General Manager.

Today, at the end of a long and brilliant professional career all within Credito Emiliano, having developed the will to end his career path, the General Manager, Nazzareno Gregori (68 years old this November), expressed his intention to retire at the end of January 2023. The Credem Board of Directors has appointed, in full continuity, the current Co-General Manager Angelo Campani as General Manager, enhancing the generational turnover which has always been a strength of the Group.

In Credito Emiliano since 1981, 59-years-old Angelo Campani currently holds the role of Co- General Manager. Previously he held various positions within the Group, mainly in the commercial banking, people management and credit management areas. He currently coordinates the Finance Business Unit and the Credit, Legal, Service Center (Back Office) and Logistics Areas. He is also Deputy Chairman of Credemfactor, Credemleasing and Credemtel, wholly owned subsidiaries of Credem.

The Board of Directors activated the succession process codified by the internal procedures for the top positions and positively evaluated, after the verification carried out by the Appointments Committee, the existence of the requirements and eligibility criteria provided for by the current legislation, as well as profile's adequacy, of Angelo Campani, to guide the Group in the current context and through the challenges that will follow. Therefore, the Board made the aforementioned designation and started the Fit & Proper process at the European Central Bank which will allow, after no more than 90 days, to proceed with the completion of the appointment.

With the appointment of Angelo Campani, the Group showed a strong orientation towards the enhancement and growth of internal people, facilitating an orderly generational transition that we believe is a characteristic strength of the company to keep creating constant and solid value also in the future", concluded Zanon.

"Today we announced the 1H22 results, which are really important and which I am very satisfied with. They represented the outcome of a long-term approach able to catch, with reactivity and flexibility, the signs of changing", declared Nazzareno Gregori, Credem General Manager. "And, with foresight and long-term planning, inherent in the company's DNA", continued Gregori, "after over 44 years in the Group, at the beginning of 2023, I will leave the post to Angelo Campani, a person who I deeply respect and who will be able to guide the Group with skill and balance in the coming years. With this choice I plan, after a life dedicated to work, to be able to spend more time with my family and, in a new way, for the community.
