Changes in Autlán's Executive Management

Compañía Minera Autlán, S.A.B. de C.V. (Autlán) informs that, after the favorable opinion of the Corporate Practices Committee and the approval of the Board of Directors, during the session held on February 24, 2021, it was resolved that Eng. Pedro Rivero González will be the Chief Executive Officer of the Company as of April 5, 2021.

For his part, Lic. Oscar Maldonado Charles -who has led Autlán since 2013- will hand over the Executive Management on that date and will continue linked to the organization as a new Board Member. Besides, he will provide support as an advisor to the CEO.

This appointment concludes the succession process in which the Company has been working along with the advice of specialized external firms and the monitoring of the Corporate Practices Committee.

Eng. Pedro Rivero González has a long professional career, currently forming part of the Management Board of Autlán and the Mexican Mining Chamber, among other institutions. He graduated from Columbia University, with a double degree in Management Systems Engineering and Economics. He also has an MBA degree by the INSEAD and has a profound knowledge of the Company; since 2005 he has held different executive positions in Autlán, the most recent being the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, with significant contributions in the consolidation and growth of the Company.

All members of the Board of Directors, as well as the Management Team in Autlán, congratulate and wish Eng. Pedro Rivero González the best of success in the exercise of his new position.

Likewise, Autlán thanks Lic. Oscar Maldonado Charles for his 8 years of dedication, who leaves a legacy that will continue to contribute in the future to add value to the Company and boost its growth and strength. Throughout these years, Mr. Maldonado was a key factor in achieving a deep transformation of the Company, achieving significant growth and results, as well as its modernization to turn it into an even more institutional and professional organization. It should be noted that his previous experience in the Mexican steel industry of more than four decades greatly enhanced the Company's knowledge of its main market and established a new work approach in both commercial and operational matters.
