VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT POWER GENERATION FOR THE YEAR OF 2017

China Power Clean Energy Development Company Limited (the "Company") announces that, according to the Company's preliminary statistics, the combined total power generation of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively the "Group") from 1 January to 31 December 2017 (the "Year") was 9,940,496.33 MWh, representing a decrease of 2.2% when compared to the same period of 2017.

Since (i) the volume of base power generation allocated by the government to the project located in Guangdong Dongguan decreased as a result of power market reform in Guangdong Province; and (ii) the decrease in water volume in Fujian area when compared to last year affected the volume of power generated in that region. Thus, the total power generation of the Group for the entire year declined when compared to 2016.

On the other hand, as a result of (i) the improvement in situation of photovoltaic power curtailment; (ii) the improvement in situation of wind power curtailment; (iii) the significant increase in power generation of Zhejiang Yunhe Photovoltaic Power Project, Fujian Zhangpu Photovoltaic Power Project, and Sichuan Panzhihua Photovoltaic Power Project; (iv) the commencement of commercial operation of Anhui Wuhu Waste-to-Energy Power Project, Hubei Macheng Chunyangshan Wind Power Project, Fujian Zhangpu Photovoltaic Power Project, Jiangxi Jian Aoli Photovoltaic Power Project, and Phase I of Fujian Zhaoan Photovoltaic Power Project this year; the extent of net decline therefore reduced.
