PJSC TransContainer (part of Depo Group) is strengthening cooperation with Administration of Primorskiy Krai to construct a terminal at Uglovaya Station of Dalnevostochnaya Railway.

Victor Markov, Director of PJSC TransContainer, and Vera Shcherbina, First Vice Governor of Primorskiy Krai - Chairman of the Government of Primorskiy Krai, signed a respective agreement within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

The document is a follow-up to the quadruple agreement between the Russian Ministry of Transport, JSC Russian Railways and Primorskiy Krai Government signed last September. The new agreement sets out the project parameters, as well as the regional authorities' interest in comprehensive support for the future terminal construction.

Thus, the project implementation is scheduled for the period from 3rd quarter of 2023 to 1st quarter of 2027. The construction period is from 3rd quarter of 2024 to 4th quarter of 2026. The financing amount will total 6,562 million rubles (excluding VAT).

"The terminal construction is of strategic importance for the fulfillment of transport and logistics potential of Primorskiy Krai. TransContainer sees it as an opportunity not only to increase its services efficiency, but also to contribute to the social and economic development of the region," noted Victor Markov.

The document was signed as a follow-up to the agreement between Delo Group and the Government of Primorskiy Krai.
