Carpetright plc Reports Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the 26 Weeks Ended 27 October 2018

Carpetright plc reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the 26 weeks ended 27 October 2018. For the period, the company reported total revenue of GBP 191.1 million compared to GBP 226.6 million a year ago. Operating loss was GBP 6.8 million compared to profit of GBP 0.5 million a year ago. Loss before tax was GBP 11.7 million compared to GBP 0.6 million a year ago. Basic and diluted loss per share were 4.8 pence compared to 1.8 pence a year ago. Loss for the financial period attributable to owners of the company was GBP 12 million compared to GBP 1.2 million a year ago.
