Issue of Equity

The Company announces that it has made an application for 40,000 ordinary shares of 1p each ('New Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to trading on AIM ('Admission'). The New Ordinary Shares have been issued pursuant to the exercise of options by certain employees of Brady. It is expected that Admission will occur on 9 March 2017.

Following the issue of the New Ordinary Shares, the Company's issued share capital consists of 83,267,887 ordinary shares of 1p each. The number of ordinary shares held in treasury is 4,306. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Brady is 83,263,581.

The above figure (83,263,581) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Brady under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
