BCE said Thursday that it has appointed Curtis Millen to take over as chief financial officer to replace Glen LeBlanc, who is set to retire in early September.

Mr. Millen is currently senior vice president of corporate strategy and treasurer at the Canadian telecom company.

He has been with Bell for 15 years and has extensive experience in corporate strategy, M&A, and finance, BCE said.

Mr. LeBlanc, who has served BCE for three decades, will retire on Sept. 1, but will stay on the board until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.
