Bankia has appointed Carlos Aguilera as its new head of its business banking division in the Murcia Region. He replaces José Manuel García Trany, who will move to a new position as Business Banking Director in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. The new Business Banking Director in the Levant (an area that encompasses the Valencia and Murcia regions) has spent the last seven years heading up teams of Product Specialists in Foreign Trade Banking for Companies and networks of SMEs; Derivatives and Currencies, and Corporate Operations within the Business Banking network.He graduated in Economic Sciences and Business studies at the Alcalá de Henares de Madrid University, has an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa and qualified as a specialist in Banking and Financial Advice at CUNEF, joining Bankia in 2001 as Mergers and Acquisitions director. He then became Specialised Business director at Bankia.
