BNY Mellon has appointed Francis Giglio to take on its Hong Kong chief executive role. Giglio takes on the new role in addition to his current responsibilities as global head of relationship management for depositary receipts, with immediate effect. Last month, it appointed Singapore chief executive Winnie Chen as a replacement for Francis Braeckevelt while he took on an expanded role to lead international operations.

Chen serves her new role alongside her current responsibilities as Asia Pacific treasury services head. Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2016, Giglio was the general manager for Asia Pacific in Nasdaq, based in Hong Kong, and vice president for corporate services and listings at the Singapore Exchange, according to his LinkedIn profile.
