Suspension of listing

Avocet Mining Plc ("Avocet" or the "Company") announces today that it has been unable to publish its Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ending 31 December 2018 within four months of the year end, and, as a consequence, the Company has requested suspension of its listing of its ordinary shares on both the London Stock Exchange and the Oslo Børs with immediate effect.

On 5 September 2018 the Company transferred a further 30% of Avocet's stake in the Tri-K project to Managold as well as the related shareholder loans. A discussion has been ongoing between the parties regarding the costs incurred as part of the work programme. As this discussion is still ongoing, the Company is not able to conclude its audit for the annual report.

The Company expects the audit to be completed in due course and will apply for the restoration of its listing immediately thereafter.
