Tortona, 30 April 2021. ASTM has been awarded, through EcoRodovias Infraestructura e Logistica S.A. ("EcoRodovias"), the tender to manage the 851 km-long motorway system from Alianca do Tocantins (TO) to Anàpolis (GO). With this award, the ASTM Group will manage around 5,500 km of motorway networks, consolidating its position as one of the world's leading motorway concessionaires.

The CEO of ASTM Umberto Tosoni commented: "We are particularly pleased to have won this concession in Brazil, which confirms our ability to win international tenders for the design, construction and realisation of complex highways. Such tenders are characterised by a very professional and competitive arena and managed by the grantor with clear procedures and certain timing. The result obtained demonstrates the value of the Group in term of industrial and managerial capabilities and commitment to the sustainable development of transportation infrastructures."

The tender was promoted by the Brazilian National Land Transport Agency ("ANTT").

EcoRodovias, in association with the Group GLP (35%), submitted the best offer with a discount of 16.25% on the base rate and the payment of an upfront premium of BRL 320 million.

The definitive award and the signing of the concession contract, with a duration of 35 years, will take place after the deadline for eventual appeals, as planned in the tender process.

The To-Go motorway system subject of the tender is 851 km long and includes three stretches (BR- 135, BR-080,BR-414) which play a strategic role within the logistical hubs from northern Brazil to the central and southern areas of the Country. The network under concession passes through 38 municipalities in the states of Tocantins and Goias and foresees investments, including CAPES and OPEX, of BRL 14 billion in 35 years.

The new award reinforces the role of the Group and of EcoRodovias as one of the main motorway operators in Brazil with a total network of around 4,000 km and confirms ASTM's implementation of its strategic plan to focus on greenfield activities and the extension of the duration of its portfolio of concessions.
