Press-releases PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih will increase salaries of its employees from May 1, 2018 Kryvyi Rih, April 12, 2018. PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the largest mining and metallurgical company of Ukraine, will increase salaries of its employees from 5% to 20% from May 1, 2018. A new remuneration system, that was developed at the company, allows to review the employees' salaries on a case-by-case basis - depending on the category of the personnel.

The main production personnel will get the most benefit from the salary increase. The workers' salaries will be increased by 20%. The administration personnel will get the smallest percentage of salary increase (5%).

At the beginning of the year (as of January 2018), the average monthly salary of the plant's employees was 12 121 UAH. The average salary in Ukraine for the same period was 7 711 UAH.

Now PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih pays salary steadily and without delays to more than 33 thousand people - own personnel, employees of subsidiaries and contractors. There are no back payments on salaries.

In Ukrainian companies, the level of back payments exceeded 350 MUAH. 125 MUAH of them is the salary arrear in Dnepropetrovsk region, where Kryvyi Rih is the largest debtor in the region.

PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih remains one of few mining and metallurgical companies of Ukraine that steadily pays the 13th salary to their employees. Each FTE of the company received performance-based compensation for 2017 in the amount of the average earning for hours actually worked. The total amount of payment was more than 200 MUAH.

Along with that, the company proposes significant social package for its employees. It includes paid vacation, sick days, medical insurance, treatment and recreation in health complexes of the plant and health centers of Ukraine, financial support and allowances both for employees and veterans of the plant. In 2018 the social expenditures of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih are planned at the level of 390 MUAH.
