Hong Kong, 18 May 2022 - ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020.HK) announced its latest Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) report (the "Report") today. The Report shows that in 2021, ANTA Sports continues to optimize its ESG governance structure by establishing a Sustainability Committee, and strengthened energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection while pursuing the achievement of financial targets.

As China's economy enters a new stage of high-quality development, the concept of ESG is increasingly drawing attention from Chinese companies. ANTA Sports stated in the Report, "In 2021, we formulated the development strategy of the coming 10 years. We will continue to create value for consumers, work together with upstream and downstream partners as well as all employees, and bear responsibility for the society and the environment, so as to move towards the goal of sustainability."

Caring for the environment, committed to carbon neutrality by 2050
As a practitioner of sustainable development, ANTA Sports cares about the environment and ecological protection, and carries out the concept of sustainable development in its operations. To this end, ANTA Sports echo China's goal of "carbon neutrality" and is steadfastly committed to achieving the overall goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. As a result of our never settling efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, while ANTA Sports' revenue increased by 38.9% in 2021, our total greenhouse gas emission intensity (in terms of revenue per RMB million) increased by only 12.2% to 2.95 metric tons of CO2 equivalent. ANTA Sports has also achieved waste reduction by using environmental friendly materials, decreasing overall packaging materials, and introducing new automation equipment and other measures to improve energy usage.

Strengthening corporate governance to better give back to society
In terms of the social and governance aspects, in 2021, ANTA Sports continued to strengthen its governance level and improved its ESG governance structure. The Company not only established a Sustainable Development Committee, but also became one of the signatory members of the UN Global Compact, supporting the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.

In addition, ANTA provides a broad career platform and a healthy working environment for more than 52,000 employees, in order to build a globalized, diversified and multi-layered team. In 2021, the proportion of female executives and the coverage rate of employee training reached 34.7% and 79.7% respectively. As a leading enterprise in the industry, ANTA established closer cooperation with 357 suppliers in China and 22 overseas suppliersto promote the upgrading of the whole industry chain. Meanwhile, the number of suppliers who gained certification of ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 reached 267/162/65 respectively, and 45 suppliers were Bluesign® certified.

ANTA Sports is committed to enhancing public welfare and giving back to the society. In 2021, ANTA Sports donated RMB 65 million in cash and sportswear worth over RMB 270 million (calculated at cost). The founding family of the Group plans to invest another RMB 10 billion in cash and shares to establish the "Hemin Foundation", to fulfill more social responsibilities. Founded five years ago, the "Sturdy Growth Charity Project" established 150 "ADream Centers", trained 2,817 physical education teachers, donated over RMB 490 million worth of sportswear and benefited over 3.5 million students in 9,137 schools in China.

ESG and sustainable development continue to play an important role in the future development plan of ANTA Sports. The Group will promote "1+3+5" - to achieve one overall goal: carbon neutrality by 2050; three "zeros": zero-landfill of self-generated production waste, zero use of virgin plastic and zero carbon emissions in self-owned operating facilities by 2030 to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment; five "50%": increase the proportion of sustainable products to 50%, replace 50% of strategic partners' energy consumption with renewable energy, use sustainable packaging for 50% of products, replace 50% of fuel used for transportation in our self-owned operating facilities with clean fuels and apply 50% sustainable raw materials. ANTA plans to drive more than 3,000 eco-system partners and more than 300,000 people to join the industry chain and grow together, as well as expand the "Young Talent Nurturing Program" to hire over 100,000 college and university graduates and young talents to join the Company. ANTA will remain focused on the development track of sportswear, develop multi-brands to cater to market demands, expand its global footprint and create mutual growth value.
