SAO PAULO, Aug 23 (Reuters) - Brazil retailer Americanas said on Wednesday it has terminated its partnership with Brazilian fuel distributor Vibra Energia SA, regarding their joint venture Vem Conveniencia SA.
Americanas said in a securities filing the termination will be carried out through partial and disproportional spin-off of Vem, after which the shares Vibra holds in Vem will be canceled. ($1 = 4.8514 reais) (Reporting by Carolina Pulice and Peter Frontini; Editing by Sarah Morland)
