AMD: collaboration with BlackBerry in robotics
The two groups say they want to develop low-latency, high-precision devices capable of delivering consistent performance for industrial and healthcare applications.
The project will be based on BlackBerry's QNX real-time operating and software development platform and AMD's Kria K26 module-based systems.
According to BlackBerry and AMD, this combination will enable data fusion, supercomputing and real-time control, thus shortening process development times and ultimately shortening time-to-market.
