Frédéric Saunier is taking the role of General Manager Travel Sellers France and Gestour from 1st of January 2024
Bertrand Poey is moving to a new position in Amadeus
Amadeus announces the appointment of Frédéric Saunier to the position of General Manager Travel Sellers France and Gestour, Amadeus, effective from January 1, 2024. Frédéric will replace Bertrand Poey, who is taking a new position at Amadeus as Division Head of Traveler Touchpoint and Experience for Airlines Solutions.
Frédéric Saunier joined Amadeus in 2013 as Director of Sales and Account Management in France, leading the commercial and sales activities for Amadeus France. He then moved to Singapore in 2015 as Head of Corporations in Asia Pacific. Since 2019, Frédéric has been Vice President of Airline Distribution Sales, in charge of negotiating content deals with airlines headquartered in Asia Pacific. He led the negotiations of the first NDC deals in the region.
Before joining Amadeus, Frédéric worked for 13 years at Air France KLM, holding positions in Distribution and Global Corporate Sales.
Commenting on the news, Francesca Benatti, SVP Travel Sellers Europe, Amadeus said, "I'm delighted to welcome Frédéric Saunier to his new position at the helm of the company's organization in France.
