The Board of Directors of Abertis has appointed Marta Casas Caba, current Corporate Legal Advisory Manager and General Vice-Secretary of the Group, as Chief Compliance Officer. In addition to her current responsibilities, Marta Casas assumes, among others, those of monitoring compliance with internal and external regulations and detecting legal risks for Abertis Group companies.

The purpose of this position of Chief Compliance Officer is to draw up, coordinate and update all internal regulations so they comply with legal requirements in Group companies, as well as to promote a culture of compliance with regulations in Abertis. Another of her responsibilities is to inform management teams of Group companies on legislation in progress, so the company can anticipate as far as possible the execution of certain actions.
