Abercrombie & Fitch Co. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended October 28, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 1,056.43 million compared to USD 880.08 million a year ago. Net income was USD 96.21 million compared to net loss of USD 2.21 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.91 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.04 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.83 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.04 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 2,827.77 million compared to USD 2,497.94 million a year ago. Net income was USD 169.68 million compared to net loss of USD 35.52 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.38 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.7 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.25 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.7 a year ago.
