Private equity firms Platinum Equity Advisors, LLC and Centerbridge Partners, L.P. have withdrawn from deal talks with AA plc (LSE:AA.)'s board, possibly leaving one consortium bidding for the company, The Telegraph reported. Platinum Equity confirmed the termination of deal talks with the AA board and said it does not intend to bid for the company. However, it reserved its right to make or participate in a possible offer for AA within six months with the agreement of AA's board if a rival bid is made. Earlier, Sky News reported that Warburg Pincus LLC was discussing a potential team-up with Centerbridge Partners and Towerbrook Capital Partners L.P. AA has until September 29, 2020 to find a buyer.
