WASHINGTON, May 9 (Reuters) - Relations between the United States and China have decidedly improved over the last year and the two countries are finding ways to work constructively together, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Thursday.

"We've deepened the relationship throughout our governments," Yellen said in an interview with NPR Marketplace.

Yellen also said inflation in the U.S. had come down substantially, but it's not where it needs to be.
