Plymouth City Council : Overnight resurfacing around Derriford Roundabout

Overnight resurfacing will get under way on Derriford Roundabout next week following recent road reconstruction works.

The work, being carried out as part of the Derriford Transport Scheme, will start on Monday 29 January and take six nights. All closures and diversions have been programmed after 7.30pm and before 6am to minimise disruption to traffic.

Monday 29 January
'Inner ring' of roundabout closed

Tuesday 30 January
North section of roundabout closed, with no access from Tavistock Road (inbound) and no access onto Derriford Road. Traffic diverted via Runway Road and Plymbridge Lane. Exit from Derriford Road onto roundabout open. Inner ring open.

Wednesday 31 January
East section of roundabout closed, with no access from Derriford Road and no access into Brest Road. Traffic from Derriford Road diverted via Plymbridge Lane, Runway Road and Tavistock Road. Access to Brest Road via Tavistock Road and William Prance Road. Inner ring open.

Thursday 1 February
South side of roundabout closed, with no access from Brest Road or onto Tavistock Road (inbound). Traffic diverted via Brest Road and William Prance Road. Inner ring open.

Friday 2 February
Phase one: West section of roundabout closed, with no access from Looseleigh Lane and no access onto Tavistock Road (outbound). Traffic diverted via Looseleigh Lane, Tamerton Foliot Road and Southway Drive.

Phase two: Roundabout access to Looseleigh Lane closed. Access via Tavistock Road and Southway Drive and Tamerton Foliot Road.

Monday 5 February
West section of roundabout closed, with no access to or from Looseleigh Lane and no access onto Tavistock Road (outbound). Access will be via Derriford Road, Plymbridge Lane, Runway Road, Tavistock Road and Southway Drive and Tamerton Foliot Road. Traffic to exit Looseleigh Lane at Tamerton Foliot Road end.
