Jean-Jacques Morin, Deputy CEO of French hotel chain Accor, talks about the rebound in tourism, driven by Asia. The improvement comes from prices and occupancy rates, he says, with 15-20% growth in RevPAR (revenue per available room) and robust forecasts for EBITDA. He points to the Group's shortcomings, which include a lack of capacity in the upscale segment and a failure to return to pre-pandemic levels, as well as the potential acquisition of Potel et Chabot, a player in the upscale restaurant sector.
