Deutsche Bank to adopt new restructuring measures. The Chairman of Deutsche Bank's Board of Directors said on Thursday that he was ready to make "drastic cuts" in investment banking, after several failed restructurings, Reuters reports.

JP Morgan Chase breaks up with Purdue. JPMorgan Chase has decided to distance itself from Purdue Pharma, , which manufactures the analgesic OxyContin, and is accused of promoting the opiate crisis in the United States, a source close to the case told AFP. This decision was taken to prevent JPMorgan Chase from having its reputation damaged by the current crisis at Purdue, the source explained.

SFM UK Management acquires stake in GAM Holding. George Soros announced that SFM UK Management, a fund linked to the billionaire, had acquired a 3% stake in GAM.

End of reign. Rallye, Foncière Euris and Finatis, the French group Casino's holding companies, have been placed in safeguard proceedings to organize a renegotiation of their debt. Partial transfer. Thomas Cook has been contacted by Triton Partners for a takeover of its Nordic activities (airline and tour operator), an unsolicited offer that will be considered, the tour operator said.
