AirBnB victorious. AirBnB won in court to remain exempt from European property regulations, as the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruled it was an online platform and not a property agent. The case was brought on by French tourism association AHTOP.

Atos invests in Chicago. Atos buys Maven Wave, a US company that works with Google Cloud, under financial conditions that have not been specified. This Chicago-based company employs about 330 people and is expected to generate revenues of $130 million this year.

A little expensive? Tencent has contacted large investment funds to help it take a 10% share in Universal Music Group, a subsidiary of Vivendi, according to Reuters. The Chinese giant had agreed with the French company to acquire a minority share on the basis of a valuation of 30 billion €, with which some funds "would not be comfortable with", according to informants of the press agency.
