BEIJING (Reuters) - China added 3.3 million new urban jobs in the first quarter, the state planner said on Tuesday.

In March alone, 1.54 million new jobs were created, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement on its website.

China's March survey-based urban jobless rate was at 5.1 percent, the statistics bureau said earlier.
