UniCredit : appoints Marco Bizzozero as Head of Group Wealth Management

UniCredit today announced that Marco Bizzozero has been appointed as Head of Group Wealth Management, effective from March, 1^st 2018. Marco Bizzozero will report to Gianni Franco Papa, General Manager of UniCredit.

The Group Wealth Management is focused on growing UniCredit wealth management and private banking business in Europe, with a strong focus on Italy, Germany and Austria. The Group Wealth Management includes a Group Product and Investment Platform, which centrally defines the investment strategy for individual clients and provides a wide, distinctive range of investment solutions and services for both wealth management and private banking clients.

Marco Bizzozero has 25 years of broad international experience in the financial industry and has held senior positions in global organisations in wealth management, private equity and investment banking. Most recently, he has been with Deutsche Bank Group since 2004, where he was Head of Wealth Management EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and CEO of Deutsche Bank Switzerland for eight years since 2009, and before that he was Global Head of Private Equity Investments. Prior to this he held various roles in investment banking and private equity with UBS in Zurich, New York and London and he was Head of Private Equity Secondary Investments at LGT Capital Partners. He was member of the Board of the Swiss Bankers Association and Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Association of Foreign Banks in Switzerland. Marco Bizzozero (born in 1969) is a Swiss citizen (Canton of Ticino) and has a master degree in Business Administration (lic. oec. HSG) from the University of St. Gallen.
