Pirelli & C : PAUL HEMBERY NOMINATED EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT OF LATAM REGION CONSUMER MANTAINS COORDINATION OF MOTORSPORT ACTIVITIES

With effect from 15 March 2017, Paul Hembery has been nominated Executive President of Pirelli Latam Region Consumer, which includes operating units in Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela. Hembery takes over from Paolo Dal Pino who since October, when he was nominated Chief Executive Officer of Pirelli Industrial, has maintained interim responsibility as the Executive President of Pirelli Latam Region Consumer, where Claudio Passerini remains confirmed in the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Paolo Dal Pino, with a long career as a manager and over 5 years in Pirelli, will be therefore totally dedicated to the development of the Industrial segment in the context of the already announced integration with the assets of Aeolus and Cnrc, which will lead to the creation of the world's fourth operator in the segment.

Hembery boasts a long professional history with Pirelli which he joined in 1992 and where he has held a diversity of responsibilities, also at the international level, the most recent being Motorsport Director. The Motorsport activities, for which Hembery will continue to ensure overall coordination, remain entrusted to Mario Isola, as Head of Car Racing, and Giorgio Barbier, as Head of Moto Racing, together with Gianni Guidotti, Head of Technical and Commercial Operations.
