CLERMONT - The Lowe's Home Improvement store in Clermont donated boxes of toys and food for students at Eustis Heights Elementary School over the winter break.

The donation is a follow-up to the store's recent volunteer effort, which partnered Lowe's employees with Eustis Heights employees in October to install three pavilions at the school to give students a place for shade during recess time.

The Clermont store had been collecting since October to provide Eustis Heights students and families toys and food for the holidays.

As part of the Lowe's Heroes company-wide volunteer effort, employees make repairs at schools, contribute construction and repair skills to build and renovate homes, and clean up and rebuild after natural disasters.

In 2016, the Clermont store was recognized nationally for its community partnerships. Now, the store is going for another win as it partners with Eustis Heights.
