Jardine Lloyd Thompson : JOE TROTTI APPOINTED GLOBAL SPECIALTY PRACTICE HEAD, AVIATION

Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc (JLT), one of the world's leading providers of insurance, reinsurance and employee benefits, announces the appointment of Joe Trotti as part of its new Global Specialty Leadership team and Global Specialty Executive.

Joe will report to Lucy Clarke, JLT's newly appointed Global Specialty CEO. One of Joe's key roles in the leadership team will be Global Practice Head of Aviation.

Joe joins JLT from AIG Europe, where he has held various senior management positions over many years, most recently as Head of Property & Specialty Risk and Head of UK Wholesale and previously President Global Aerospace & Marine at AIG.

This appointment follows JLT's announcement on January 10th 2018 that it is bringing together all of its insurance broking activities under the JLT Specialty banner as it continues on its mission to become the leading global specialist risk adviser and broker. The appointment of Joe strengthens the leadership of a core JLT Specialty practice, with Joe responsible for coordinating its global aviation capabilities and accelerating their development.
