HALCOR received the 1st award in the "CSR Report 2015" Category and the 3rd award in the "CSR Group 2015" Category, during the annual ceremony of the Ethos Sustainability Forum & Awards 2015, which was held on July 02, in Athens. The Strategic Planning Director and Corporate Responsibility Manager, George Mavraganis who represented HALCOR in the ceremony, received the relative awards.

The Ethos Sustainability Awards are presented annually during the Ethos Sustainability Forum. It should be noted that Ethos Sustainability Awards was organized by ETHOS EVENTS and HRIMA magazine, under the auspices of the Business Ethics Institute, as well as the support of the Federation's of Greek Industries Council on Sustainable Development. The awards aim to highlight and reward Greek businesses that base their development on a sustainability oriented strategy and that resemble an example for other organizations in these terms.

Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility are integral parts of HALCOR's strategy. The company's objective is to create value for its stakeholders - shareholders, employees, customers, partners and the wider community. In this context, the company maintains an ongoing communication with its stakeholders, while also monitoring and managing its environmental footprint, partnering with local communities at various levels and following high health & safety standards in the workplace. "We are really honoured, as these distinctions reaffirm our strategic choice to develop a sustainable approach to environmental protection, the development of our people and the support of the society in which we operate.
