BUWOG celebrates topping out for "frei:raum21" near the Alte Donau

The topping out for the BUWOG project 'frei:raum21' took place on 22 June 2017 at Karl Nieschlag Gasse 9 in the 21st district of Vienna. Together with Franz Pabst, managing director and master carpenter from MHB Bau und Holz GmbH, Andreas Hawlik, managing director and architect of the firm Huss Hawlik Architekten, and other project partners, Andreas Holler, head of Development at the BUWOG Group in Austria, welcomed the approximately 100 guests and extended his thanks to the partners involved in the project: 'Together we have built a residential complex here in Floridsdorf that will provide a new home for numerous families. Thanks to our competent and reliable partners, we completed the shell on schedule, and we are very proud of it'.

The name lives up to its promise

'frei:raum21' consists of a total of 140 privately financed condominiums, each with two to four rooms and apartment sizes ranging between 54 sqm and 82 sqm. All of the apartments are equipped with a balcony or a terrace with a private garden, thus providing future owners with private areas to unwind in, in addition to a green environment. The project also features relaxation zones, a playground for children and young people and, on a rooftop terrace, offers an urban gardening area where future residents can obtain raised-bed plots for gardening and planting. The low-rise development ensures the intimate character of an estate. Surrounded by parking facilities available within walking distance, the Alte Donau around 15 minutes away also offers numerous opportunities for sports, recreation and leisure. Local shops and medical facilities such as pharmacies and the SMZ Ost hospital can be reached in a few minutes.
