The single-seat, twin-engine Typhoon incorporates an ultra-modern cockpit where the needs of the pilot are paramount. Its human-machine interface features an advanced wide-angle head-up display, direct voice input, and a helmet-mounted symbology system that gives flight reference and weapon data aiming information through the pilot's visor.

Built by a three-company consortium comprising Airbus, Leonardo and BAE Systems, the Eurofighter Typhoon represents the peak of British, German, Italian and Spanish collaborative technology, and is one of Europe's largest military collaborative programmes. Originally conceived to modernize European air forces, it is in service with seven customers and has been ordered by an additional two. The aircraft has demonstrated, and continues to demonstrate, high reliability across the globe in all climates.

Strap in with a Spanish Air Force pilot and watch the video to experience a Typhoon's flight.
